Management and Leadership Training Funding
Management Training Funding is available in some regions from the DTI via BusinessLink with the following benefits:
• For medium sized enterprises with 20–249 employees
• To qualify business owners/directors must undergo a personal review with a Skills Advisor to agree the kind of development. The advisor will then submit a personal development plan to Business Link to secure the funding.
• Up to £1000 is for you to develop how you lead and develop your business.
We identify together exactly what is appropriate in the initial free advice session. Some examples are outlined below:
• One to One coaching (a series of coaching sessions over a 6-month period with an experienced coach to accelerate achievement of your objectives and review your plans for the immediate future).
• Open workshops and networking (Half-day or whole day workshops to build skills).
• Half-day or whole day workshops on our Open Programme.
Members will not be required to make any contribution unless they have identified needs that the meeting of which would exceed that funded by the £1,000 contributed by Business Link.
