SummitSkills Champions East Midlands' High Achievers!
The East Midlands building services engineering sector celebrated its training talent at the East Midlands Regional Training Awards 2007 on Wednesday 17 October 2007.  Six winners were presented with awards to recognise apprentice excellence in heating and ventilating, plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning.

The award ceremony took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Severn Trent Water Centre in Cropston, near Leicester and were supported by leading companies from within the industry, local colleges and training providers.

SummitSkills' Operations Manager for the East Midlands region, Kat Wehrheim commented: "The UK faces a skills shortage within the building services sector so it is now more important than ever to recognise and support training and recruitment to address the problem and secure a future workforce".
