National Training Awards
There are 10 different award categories:
This year's awards will take place at The British Library, London on Wednesday 25 March 2009. The evening's inspirational guest speaker will be mountaineer Nigel Vardy, the first British climber to scale the world's seven tallest peaks on the seven largest islands in 2007. Nigel also has more than 20 years experience in electrical engineering. The closing date for applications is Friday 9 January 2009. 2008 AwardsThe British Library played host to the 2008 National Training Awards for the building services engineering sector on 2nd April.
UK Skills National Training Awards Businesses of all sizes, from micro businesses to multi-nationals, in the public, private or voluntary sectors, are eligible to enter the National Training Awards managed by UK Skills. This includes organisations that work together to provide education and training in a business context and/or within the community. Though the labels are the same, these are not the same thing as our sector's National Training Awards. They are managed by UK Skills and supported by the the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, Department for Employment and Learning Northern Ireland, the Welsh Assembly Government, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
